South Rome Alliance invites the public to an Open House event at their new location, 1 South Broad Street, this Friday from 8 am to 10 am. Jake Hager, Executive Director, enthuses that attendees may enjoy coffee from Java Joy, chicken biscuits, and the opportunity to learn about the resources offered by South Rome Alliance.
Hager adds that SRA is a place-based community development organization with a focus on affordable housing, education, and wellness.
SRA has also scheduled its first annual Music Festival for Saturday, May 22nd from 7 pm to 10 pm at Parks Hoke Park; that will feature Kevin Allen Music Productions (or KAMP). Tickets and information are available via the South Rome Alliance website at www.southrome.org.
