COLONIAL PIPELINE NOW BACK ONLINE

Colonial Pipeline is back online after a cyberattack led to a shutdown, which resulted in major concerns about fuel shortages. According to a release from the organization, Colonial Pipeline initiated the restart of pipeline operations at approximately 5 pm on Wednesday. It is expected to take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal. Some markets that are served by Colonial Pipeline may experience, or continue to experience, some intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period. Updates will be provided on the restart at www.colpipe.com.

The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline rose just above $3 on Wednesday, according to AAA, The Auto Club Group.

Governor Brian Kemp was joined by state officials on Wednesday to give an update about the impact of the Colonial Pipeline issues on Georgia. That was streamed live (and may still be viewed) on the Governor’s website and social media outlets.
