ATLANTA BRAVES IN BOSTON FOR INTERLEAGUE SERIES VERSUS RED SOX, RILEY NAMED NL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Atlanta Braves were off on Monday and will return to action this evening with the first of two interleague games in Boston versus the Red Sox. Charlie Morton will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Garrett Richards will head to the mound for Boston. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm at Fenway Park. That game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM/ 96.9 FM; air time is 5:55 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

Atlanta went 4-3 on their most recent homestand, which wrapped up Sunday with a 7-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Austin Riley had a total of four home runs in that series with the Pirates and six homers in the past week. On Monday, he was named the National League Player of the Week.
