GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE TO HOLD JOB FAIR IN FLOYD COUNTY

The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) will hold a Job Fair on Wednesday, June 9, in Floyd County from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

DJJ is currently recruiting for Juvenile Correctional Officers, Housekeepers, and Food Service Workers at the Bob Richards Youth Detention Center, located in Rome, Ga. On-site interviews will be conducted, along with contingent hiring. Individuals interested in applying should bring their valid driver’s license, birth certificate, and proof of a high school diploma, GED, or college degree.

A special salary incentive of up to 10 percent for all former military personnel will be available for the juvenile correctional officer positions based on years of active duty. For more information, please contact DJJ’s Office of Human Resources at 404-294-3431.
