Registration is now open for the 35th annual Roman Rumble 5K Run/Walk to benefit Harbor House, The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center. That event will be held on Saturday, September 11th, it will be the 20th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the US.
Joe Costolnick, Executive Director (and a former law enforcement officer), says that discounts are offered to all first responders, who may participate at a cost of $15 apiece. Other runners and walkers are urged to take advantage of early registration discounts. A link to register is posted on Facebook; look for Harbor House – The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center.
Registration now costs $25 per runner or walker; group registration is $20 per participant. Proceeds will benefit Harbor House’s mission to provide support and intervention for child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.
The 2020 Roman Rumble was shifted to a date in November. Costolnick says he looks forward to returning to their traditional date in September.
