The Rome Braves blanked the Bowling Green Hot Rods 5-0 on Wednesday afternoon in game two of a six-game set at State Mutual Stadium. That was the first shut out of the year for Rome, which is now five games behind High-A East South-leading Bowling Green. Those two teams will meet again this evening at 7 pm.
