ROME BRAVES OPEN ROAD TRIP WITH SHUT OUT WIN OVER THE ABERDEEN IRONBIRDS

The Rome Braves opened up a 12-game road trip with a shut-out victory over the Aberdeen Ironbirds by a final score of 14-0 in Aberdeen, MD on Tuesday night. Rome jumped to an early 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning, posted another run in the third, and four more each in the seventh and eighth. Those two teams will meet again tonight in game two of a six-game set; first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
