(Media release from Rome’s Downtown Development Authority):
The Downtown Rome First Friday Concert Series continues this Friday, July 2 with a free concert at the Town Green. Party at the Limit band will perform and features three vocalists, two horn players, and a funky fresh rhythm section that’s second to none! Their musical repertoire includes rock, Motown, soul, R&B, country, jazz, and current hits.
The concert will kick off at 7 p.m. and the public is welcome to bring chairs and blankets for general seating on the lawn. Open container has been approved throughout downtown and several businesses are providing easy grab and go options to take to the concert. Parking will be free at the 4th Ave deck starting at 5 p.m. and 3rd Ave deck all day.
The free concert series held the first Friday of each month June through September is made possible thanks to the generous support of Rome’s downtown businesses and property owners. The community is encouraged to support downtown businesses by dining, shopping and utilizing services.Keep up with Downtown Rome on social media (@DowntownRomeGA).
