SIXTEEN LIVES LOST ON GEORGIA’S ROADS OVER JULY FOURTH HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The Georgia Department of Public Safety reports that a total of 16 people lost their lives on the state’s roadways over the July 4th holiday weekend. None of the fatalities were reported in Troop A, which covers Northwest Georgia. The 54-hour long travel period began on Friday at 6 pm and ended at 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 4th.
