COOSA RIVER BASIN INITIATIVE’S FIRST GUIDED PADDLE TRIP OF 2021 SET FOR JULY 17TH

The Coosa River Basin Initiative’s first guided paddle trip of the 2021 season is just around the corner! The paddle trip, scheduled for Saturday, July 17th, will take participants down the Etowah River from Euharlee Road to US 411, attests Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, CRBI Executive Director. Registration and information are available online at www.coosa.org.

Paddle trips will continue through the summer and into the fall, culminating with the last trip of the year on November 20th through Dawson Forest, adds Demonbreun-Chapman.

Most trips are ‘very accessible’ to novice paddlers, according to Demonbreun- Chapman, who attests that assistance will provided to those who need it.

Those who are not members of the CRBI will be required to join in order to participate in a guided paddle trip. Canoes and kayak rentals are available for each trip.
