WINGS OVER NORTH GEORGIA LANDS AT LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN AMONG NORTH AMERICAN AIR SHOWS IN USA TODAY’S 10 BEST

The Wings Over North Georgia air show finished at lucky number seven in the category of Best Air Show in USA Today’s 2021 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards, for which winners were recently announced.

John Cowman, President of JLC Airshow Management, says that he’s excited that the air show has received national recognition.

WONG 2021 will take place on October 30th and 31st – Halloween weekend – at Rome’s Russell Regional Airport and will be headlined by the US Navy’s Blue Angels. The Blues are in the midst of their 75th anniversary season and will be blazing into town in their new F/A-18 Super Hornets. They also have a brand new C-130J (aka “Fat Albert”), asserts Cowman.

Tickets for this year’s air show may be purchased (in advance only) online at www.wingsovernorthgeorgia.com. Premium seating and camping is sold out, attests Cowman. A performer line-up and complete air show information for ’21 is also featured on that website.
