FLOYD COUNTY PUBLIC ANIMAL WELFARE SERVICES IS BACK TO WELCOMING VISITORS WITH NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED

Floyd County Public Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is back to welcoming visitors with no appointment needed. Jeff Mitchell, Executive Director, urges locals to visit the shelter at 99 North Avenue in Rome to find forever friends; it is open to the public from 1 pm to 5 pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

PAWS is in search of people to adopt and/or foster animals currently housed at the shelter, adds Mitchell.

Mitchell asserts that about 70 percent of foster families end up adopting their fostered pets.

Floyd County PAWS may be reached by telephone at (706) 236-4537 or look for Public Animal Welfare Services on Facebook for the latest updates by the shelter.
