The Rome City Commission’s Special Committee on Housing will meet this afternoon at 4:30 pm in the Sam King Room of City Hall (City Auditorium) on Broad Street. The group is anticipated to discuss an implementation plan for housing incentives approved by the full commission earlier in the month. They will also determine next steps on some other recommended incentives. Additional ideas that are up for a discussion include housing rehabilitation, down payment assistance, and rental assistance.
