Harbor House, The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center, continues to urge local runners and walkers to register for the 35th annual Roman Rumble, set for Saturday, September 11th at Ridge Ferry Park.

The ’21 event will be held on the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the US. Joe Costolnick, Executive Director, indicates that a discounted registration fee of $15 is offered to all first responders.

Other individuals may participate in the race at a cost of $25 each. There are group rates available at a cost of $20 per participant. Find the link to register on Harbor House, The Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center’s Facebook page.

Costolnick was a rookie police officer when the events of 9/11 unfolded. He indicates that there will be an acknowledgement of that tragic day at the 2021 Roman Rumble.

The proceeds from the Roman Rumble will support Harbor House mission to offer assistance to local children who are alleged victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.

Around 200 runners and walkers participate in the Roman Rumble each year, states Costolnick, who adds that about 50 people had registered as of late last week.
