ATLANTA BRAVES BACK IN ACTION AT ST. LOUIS WITH THREE-GAME SET VERSUS CARDINALS

The Atlanta Braves were off Monday night and will return to action tonight with the first of three games up in St. Louis, MO versus the Cardinals. Max Fried will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta, while Jon Lester will head to the mound for St. Louis. The first pitch is scheduled for 8:15 pm at Busch Stadium. That game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 7 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves have alternated wins and losses since the ’21 MLB All-Star break. They fell to the National League Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers in their most recent outing by a final score of 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Truist Park; it allowed the Brewers to take the weekend series between the teams 2-1.

Atlanta is now 52-54 on the season and in the third place of the NL East, now three and a half games behind the first place New York Mets. St. Louis is 53-52 and in third place of the NL Central.
