The Braves opened this homestand by taking two out of three games from the Washington Nationals over the weekend to include a 5-4 victory in the series finale on Sunday.
Atlanta is now 57-55 on the 2021 season and in second place of the National League East, two games back from the division-leading Philadelphia Phillies. Cincinnati is 61-52 and in the second place of the NL Central, five and a half games behind the first place Milwaukee Brewers.
