FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR DAVIES HOMELESS SHELTERS HAVE ONCE AGAIN SHIFTED

Fundraising efforts for the William S. Davies Homeless Shelters have shifted once again, in light of coronavirus concerns.

Devon Smyth, Executive Director, urges the public to support the shelters via their participation in the Neighbor Society, a community for monthly donors. Contributions may be made online at www.daviesshelter.com or by searching for The Davies Shelters on Facebook or Instagram.

All funds raised will go towards operating costs at The Shelter (which houses men) and the Ruth and Naomi House (for women and children).

Smyth says that this fundraising effort is called the Neighbor Society because the homeless of our community are our neighbors.

In addition to financial contributions, donations of household goods (such as toilet paper) are also sought by the Davies Shelter at this time.
