The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center, 412 Lavender Drive, will host another Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event next Saturday, September 18th from 9 am until 3 pm. Appointments are required and may be made by calling (706) 291-5266 by next Friday, September 17th at 5 pm.
Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County, says that this will be an opportunity to dispose of old televisions, computers, and liquids that could be toxic.
This event is open to residents of Floyd County only. No business or out-of-county items will be accepted.
