A total of 13,292 new cases of coronavirus and 128 more virus-related deaths were reported across Georgia on Monday by the state’s Department of Public Health.
According to the latest update by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 1,164,634 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide since the beginning of this pandemic. The state’s death toll now stands at 20,705. The number of confirmed cases totaled 13,979 in Floyd County, which has additionally had a total of 226 fatalities. Fulton County has had the most confirmed cases in the state with 103,400 and the most deaths with 1,446.
As of the latest update to the DPH’s vaccine dashboard Monday, 10,092,472 vaccines have been administered across the state; 53 percent of all Georgians Ohave received at least a dose of the vaccine, while 45 percent have been fully vaccinated. In Floyd County, 43 percent of residents have had at least a dose, while 37 percent are fully vaccinated.
