ATLANTA BRAVES AND COLORADO ROCKIES SERIES FINALE RAINED OUT, BRAVES NOW OUT WEST TO FACE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS OVER THE WEEKEND

Thursday afternoon’s series finale between the Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies at Truist Park has been postponed because of inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Braves will be in San Francisco, CA over the weekend for a three-game set versus the Giants. Ian Anderson will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta in tonight’s opener, and Logan Webb will head to the mound for San Francisco. The first pitch is slated for 9:45 pm Eastern. The game will not air on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM due to coverage of high school football. WLAQ will, however, will join the Atlanta Braves Radio Network for coverage of games on Saturday night and Sunday between the Braves and the Giants.

The Braves are 76-68 on the 2021 season and now lead the National League East by just three games over the Philadelphia Phillies (who beat the Chicago Cubs on Thursday night). San Francisco is atop the NL West at 95-52.
