The Coosa Valley Fair will return to the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds, located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in Rome, from Tuesday, October 5th to Saturday, October 9th, after a hiatus in 2020 due to coronavirus concerns.
This will be the 72nd edition of “Fall’s Finest Festival”. JP Cooper, President of the Coosa Valley Fair Association, indicates that discounted armbands are currently available online at www.coosavalleyfair.com through next Monday at midnight.
Masks are optional, but not mandatory. Cooper asserts that measures will be taken to prevent spread of coronavirus at the Fair, a mostly outdoors event. If you are sick or concerned about the virus, Cooper says to stay home.
New attractions at the 2021 Coosa Valley Fair include the Aquatic Acrobatic Show and Bickerin’ Blacksmiths. Jurassic Kingdom, a full blown dinosaur show touted as a perfect mix of entertainment and education, will return this year. There will also be a host of rides, exhibitions, and fair food.
