(Floyd County Schools media release):
The Floyd County Marching Exhibition is an event held annually in which each of the four Floyd County high school marching bands performs their halftime show in front of an audience in a non-competitive setting. This event is designed to give audience members a preview of the final musical and marching production before all of the final details of the performance have been implemented and polished. Marching bands utilize this event as an educational opportunity to perform in front of an engaged audience that is similar to the experience they will have at a competition later in their season.
