TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER 2ND ELECTION, EARLY VOTING BEGINS OCTOBER 12TH

This is the last day to register to vote in the November 2nd municipal general election.

In this particular election, voters in the City of Rome will determine the fate of three posts in Ward Two of the City Commission and seven seats on the Board of Education. Down in Cave Spring, three City Council seats are up for grabs.

Early voting begins next Tuesday, October 12th. As posted on Floyd County’s website – Early voting will begin and absentee ballots will be available at the Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration Office on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The last day to request an absentee ballot is Friday, October 22, 2021. The last day to cast your ballot early is Friday, October 29, 2021. The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration Office is located in the Floyd County Administration Building, 12 East 4th Avenue, Suite 20, Rome, GA 30161. Mandatory Saturday voting will be held October 16 and October 23. One optional Sunday voting will be held October 24.

Polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2nd, from 7 am until 7 pm.
