TIMES SET FOR GAMES ONE AND TWO OF NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES BETWEEN ATLANTA BRAVES AND MILWAUKEE BREWERS; FRIED NAMED NL PITCHER OF THE MONTH

The times have been officially set for Games One and Two of the National League Division Series between the NL East-champion Atlanta Braves and the NL Central-champion Milwaukee Brewers. First pitch of Friday’s series opener is scheduled for 4:37 pm at American Family Field up in Milwaukee, WI. Game Two is slated for Saturday at 5:07 pm in the same location. The best-of-five series will move to Truist Park down in Atlanta for Game Three on Monday and Game Four, if needed, next Tuesday. Game Five, if needed, will be played in Milwaukee on Thursday, October 14th.

Atlanta finished the 2021 regular season with a record of 88-73 and a fourth straight division title. Milwaukee went 95-67.

Charlie Morton (a former Rome Brave) will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta in Friday night’s NLDS opener between the Braves and the Brewers.

And in other news of the Atlanta Braves, it was announced Monday that Max Fried (also a former Rome Brave) was named the National League’s Pitcher of the Month for September.
