The 72nd annual Coosa Valley Fair continues through Saturday at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds, 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Rome. Gates open at 5 pm this evening with $25 armbands on sale for unlimited rides until close at 11 pm.
Wade Shows is back in town with carnival rides at the local fair. JP Cooper, President of the Coosa Valley Fair Association, encourages attendees to enjoy those rides.
Admission is $5 per person age six and older. Children under the age of six are admitted free of charge.
Proceeds from the Coosa Valley Fair are funneled by the Exchange Club of Rome primarily to its Family Resource Center, whose mission is prevention of child abuse.
