Later This Morning

Later This Morning in Rome

Weekdays from 9–10 a.m. on WLAQ

Later This Morning in Rome is a daily conversation about the people, places, stories and ideas that make Rome and Northwest Georgia a special place to call home.

Hosted by Matt Davis, the program goes beyond the traditional news cycle to make room for interesting conversations with local people about what they do, what they enjoy and what inspires them.

Throughout the week, Matt is joined by familiar voices including Monica Sheppard of Cecil T’s Mercantile, Kenneth Studdard of Dogwood Books, Ian Griffin of V3 and WLAQ Sports, and local attorney Joel Thornton, along with special guests from across the community.

From local business and sports to books, travel, history, the arts and community life, no two mornings are quite the same. Later This Morning in Rome is a place for good conversation, interesting stories and the people who make our community what it is.

Listen weekdays from 9–10 a.m. on WLAQ 96.9 FM and 1410 AM, or watch live on the WLAQ – Rome Facebook page.
