NL EAST-CHAMPION ATLANTA BRAVES TO BEGIN THEIR RUN IN THE MLB POSTSEASON TODAY

The Atlanta Braves will begin their run in the MLB postseason today with Game One of their National League Division Series against the Milwaukee

Brewers. Charlie Morton will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Corbin Burnes will head to the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch is scheduled for 4:37 pm at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 3:20 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves punched their ticket to the playoffs and clinched their fourth NL East title in a row with a win over the Philadelphia Phillies in a battle among division rivals on the very last night of September at Truist Park.

The Braves wrapped up the 2021 regular season last Sunday with a record of 88-73. The NL Central-champion Brewers went 95-67.

Saturday’s Game Two of the NLDS between the Braves and the Brewers will begin at 5:07 pm in Milwaukee. The best-of-five series will head to Atlanta for Game Three on Monday; it was announced Thursday that the first pitch of that outing is scheduled for 1:07 pm. If a Game Four is necessary, it will also be played in Atlanta on Tuesday. Game Five, if needed, will take place up in Milwaukee next Thursday, October 14th.
