JOCTOBER! JOC PEDERSON LIFTS ATLANTA BRAVES TO VICTORY OVER MILWAUKEE BREWERS IN GAME THREE OF NLDS

The Atlanta Braves are just a win away from heading to the National League Championship Series for the second year in a row after posting a 3-0 shutout victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game Three of their Division Series on Monday at Truist Park in Atlanta, which gave the Braves a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five set.

Just call it Joctober – Joc Pederson led the charge offensively with a three run homer off the bench during the bottom of the fifth inning.

Ian Anderson was the winning pitcher for Atlanta; he gave up just three hits, walked none, and struck out six over five scoreless innings. Will Smith was credited with the save. Adrian Houser took the loss for Milwaukee.

The Braves will host the Brewers in Game Four of the NLDS this evening at 5:07 pm. Listen on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; air time is 3:50 pm.

Game Five of this playoff series between the Braves and the Brewers, if it is needed, will be played on Thursday evening in Milwaukee, WI. The winning team will proceed to the NLCS versus either the San Francisco Giants or Los Angeles Dodgers; the Giants currently lead their NLDS by 2-1.
