ATLANTA BRAVES ARE HEADED TO THE NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES FOR A SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR!

The Atlanta Braves are headed to the National League Championship Series for a second year in a row following a 5-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game Four of their NL Division Series on Tuesday evening at Truist Park; that allowed the Braves to take the series 3-1.

Freddie Freeman was the hero of the night with a tie-breaking solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning that turned out to be the game-winner.

Atlanta’s starting pitcher Charlie Morton surrendered two runs and four hits, walked one, and struck out five over three and a third innings. Tyler Matzek was credited with the win in relief. Will Smith picked up the save.

Reliever Josh Hader was charged with the loss for Milwaukee, whose season has drawn to a close.

Game One of the NLCS is scheduled for this Saturday. The Braves will face either the San Francisco Giants or the Los Angeles Dodgers; LA evened their NLDS at two games each on Tuesday night.
