CHIAHA HARVEST FAIR TO RETURN OCTOBER 23RD AND 24TH AT A NEW LOCATION – THE COOSA VALLEY FAIRGROUNDS

The Chiaha Harvest Fair will return in 2021, after a hiatus in ’20 because of coronavirus concerns. It will be held at a new location this year – the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds. Event dates/times are Saturday and Sunday, October 23rd and 24th from 10 am until 5 pm both days. Monica Sheppard, co-chair, looks forward to this move from Ridgeferry Park.

Dogs will once again be allowed at Chiaha, which will be highlighted by arts and crafts, live music, and hot apple cider. Sheppard anticipates that weather will be perfect for cider sippin’.

Severo Avila, Associate Editor of the Rome News-Tribune, enthuses that his favorite part of Chiaha is the kettlecorn.

Admission to Chiaha will be $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $1 for kids ages three thru 12. For event details and updates, visit www.chiaha.org and ‘like’ Chiaha Harvest Fair on Facebook.

The mission of the Chiaha Guild of Arts and Crafts is to support the arts and art education in Rome and Floyd County.
