EARLY VOTING CONTINUES IN NOVEMBER 2ND MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION

Early voting continues over the next couple of weeks for the November 2nd municipal general election at the Floyd County Elections Office, located in the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue; the hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. A second location will open up at the Rome Civic Center today and will operate during the same hours through the end of early voting on October 29th. Saturday and Sunday voting will be offered this weekend from 9 am to 5 pm both days at the county Admin Building.

This election will determine the fate of three posts in Ward Two of the Rome City Commission and all seven seats on the city schools’ Board of Education.

Down in Cave Spring, three City Council seats are up for grabs.

Polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2nd, from 7 am until 7 pm.
