The local observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month features one more event that is on tap for this evening. The Hospitality House for Women, Inc. will host its public Annual Board Meeting virtually via Zoom at 5:30 pm. The DVAM slate of activities was highlighted this past Friday by the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event in downtown Rome. Lt. Josh Kerce with the Rome City Police Department was top fundraiser in the inaugural Grand Marshal Challenge, which netted over $18,500 for Hospitality House.
