The Atlanta Braves are World Series-bound for the first time since 1999! The Braves punched their ticket to the Fall Classic by taking the National League Championship Series 4-2 over the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 4-2 victory in Game Six on Saturday night at Truist Park in Atlanta.

Eddie Rosario led the charge offensively with a tie-breaking, three-run homer during the bottom of the fourth inning.

Rosario went on to be named the MVP of the 2021 NLCS.

Tyler Matzek was credited with the win in relief, while Will Smith picked up the save for Atlanta. Walker Buehler was charged with the loss for LA.

And it was party time on the Battery upon the conclusion of Saturday night’s game.

The Braves will now go on to face the American League Champion Houston Astros in the 2021 World Series. Game one is scheduled for Tuesday night at 8:09 pm in Houston. Listen on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM.
