ATLANTA BRAVES DROP GAME TWO OF 2021 WORLD SERIES TO HOUSTON ASTROS, BEST-OF-SEVEN SET NOW EVEN AT 1-1

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Houston Astros 7-2 in Game Two of the 2021 World Series on Wednesday night at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX; that allowed the Astros to even the series at 1-1.

Max Fried was charged with the loss for Atlanta after giving up six runs (five earned) and seven hits, walking one, and striking out six in five innings. Jose Urquidy picked up the win for Houston.
Offensive highlights for the Braves included a game-tying solo home run by Travis d’Arnaud during the top of the second inning. Freddie Freeman had an RBI single in the fifth.

The Astros notched four of their seven runs during the bottom of the second inning.

The best-of-seven Fall Classic will head to Atlanta for Game Three on Friday night. First pitch is slated for 8:09 pm at Truist Park. Listen on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; the broadcast from ESPN Radio will begin at 7 pm.
