The season of leaf-peeping is now upon us. Kim Hatcher, the Public Affairs Coordinator for Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, asserts that peak Fall color usually occurs around late October to early November in north Georgia. She encourages all leaf peepers to check out the Leaf Watch travel planner at www.gastateparks.org for the latest updates.
The Leaf Watch travel planner features a listing of the Top 10 Parks for Fall Color. Hatcher urges visitors to share their pictures of Fall color at the parks around state via social media with the hashtag #GaLeafWatch to possibly be featured in the 2021 photo gallery on the website.
