The Atlanta Braves are the ’21 World Champions! The Braves clinched their first World Series title since 1995 with a 7-0 shutout victory over the Houston Astros in Game Six of this year’s Fall Classic on Tuesday night out at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX.

Jorge Soler, who was named series MVP, led the charge for the Braves with a three-run homer during the top of the third inning.

Dansby Swanson added a two-run shot in the fifth. Freddie Freeman had an RBI double in the fifth and a solo home run in the seventh.

Atlanta’s starting pitcher Max Fried gave up just four hits, walked none, and struck out six over six innings en route to the win. Luis Garcia was charged with the loss for Houston.

This marked the fourth World Series title in Braves’ franchise history. They won it all in 1914 in Boston, 1957 in Milwaukee, in 1995 and now in 2021 in Atlanta.
