The results are in from the November 2nd municipal general election. In the race for Ward Two of the Rome City Commission, incumbents Randy Quick and Jamie Doss won their bids for re-election. Former school board member Elaina Beeman also was elected to that office. And in the race for the Rome City Schools’ Board of Education – all six of the incumbents were re-elected to serve another term; that list includes Will Byington, Faith Collins, Melissa Davis, Jill Fisher, Alvin Jackson, and John Uldrick. Pascha Burge was voted to her first term.
Voters in Cave Spring cast ballots for three posts on their City Council in this election. Jason West, Charles Jackson, and Steven Pierce were elected to the Posts Three, Four, and Five, respectively.
