Less than a week remains until the ’21 Rome International Film Festival gets underway. The 18th annual festival will be held November 11th through 14th. It will be mostly in-person this year, asserts Mark Van Leuven, the President of the RIFF Board of Directors.
Billy Bob Thornton will be among the special guests on hand for RIFF 2021. A screening of his film “Sling Blade” is slated for Sunday, November 14th in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Oscar Award-winning film’s release in the theaters, says Van Leuven.
Actor and filmmaker Mario Van Peebles and hip-hop group Nappy Roots are also on this year’s line-up of special guests at RIFF.
Van Leuven urges film enthusiasts to visit www.riffga.com to get the details about this year’s festival. Passes may be purchased via that website; patrons and sponsors are also sought at this time.
Festival updates may also be obtained by following the Rome International Film Festival on social media to include Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
