Have you been thinking of participating in the 2021 Rome Christmas Parade? Better go ahead and submit those entries! The deadline to enter the parade is one week from today, Monday, November 15th, an extension from the original deadline of November 10th.
The parade will head back to Broad Street in downtown Rome this year after taking place last year as a drive-thru event at State Mutual Stadium, the home of the Rome Braves, according to Janet Byington, Co-Chair.
Tuesday, November 30th is the date of the Rome Christmas Parade; there is a rain date of Thursday, December 2nd. The theme in 2021 is “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!”, enthuses Byington.

The Grand Marshal for ’21 will be named during a breakfast on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. That person will lead the parade, which will conclude with an appearance by Santa Claus.
