The Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report was not published on Monday due to an issue processing eletronic laboratory reports, as indicated by the agency’s website.
According to the latest update from the DPH on Friday, 1,268,462 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported across Georgia since the beginning of the pandemic. The state’s death toll stands at 25,094. There have been 15,490 confirmed cases in Floyd County, which has also had 306 fatalities. Gwinnett County has had the most confirmed cases in this state with 112,397. Fulton County has had the most deaths with 1,654.
As of the most recent update to the DPH’s vaccine dashboard on Monday, 11,552,905 vaccines have been administered across Georgia; 56 percent of all residents have received at least a dose of the vaccine, and 50 percent are now fully vaccinated. In Floyd County, 47 percent have had at least one dose, and 43 percent are now fully vaccinated.
