FLOYD COUNTY PUBLIC ANIMAL WELFARE SERVICES IN SEARCH OF ADOPTERS

Floyd County PAWS (Public Animal Welfare Services) remains in search of reliable, trustworthy individuals to adopt the dogs and cats currently housed at its shelter. Jeff Mitchell, Director, attests that there are plenty of furbabies to adopt.

Mitchell indicates that PAWS is open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm and by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays.

PAWS is located at 99 North Avenue in Rome and may be reached by phone at (706) 236-4537. Pictures of animals available for adoption are frequently posted on Facebook; search for Public Animal Welfare Services.

November is National Adopt A Senior Pet Month, an observance dedicated to helping older pets find loving homes.
