The 18th annual Rome International Film Festival is officially underway and will run through Sunday. Actor, filmmaker, and musician Billy Bob Thornton is among the line-up of special guests for 2021.
The festival draws film enthusiasts from around the world here to Rome, GA. Mark Van Leuven, the President of RIFF’s Board of Directors, attests that one filmmaker from Israel submitted an eight-minute film to this festival with the notion that he was approaching the film festival over in Rome, Italy. Upon a recommendation from friends, he opted to head to the USA and participate in RIFF.
