A total of 807 new cases of coronavirus and 103 more virus-related deaths were reported in Georgia on Wednesday by the state’s Department of Public Health.
According to the latest update by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 1,276,020 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide since the beginning of this pandemic. The state’s death toll now stands at 25,469. The number of confirmed cases totaled 15,586 in Floyd County, which has additionally had a total of 307 deaths. Gwinnett County has had the most confirmed cases in the state with 113,293. Fulton County has had the most deaths with 1,669.
As of the most recent update to the DPH’s vaccine dashboard on Wednesday, 11,854,471 vaccines have been administered across this state; 57 percent of Georgians have received at least a dose of the vaccine, while 51 percent have been fully vaccinated.
