The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Boston Celtics 110-99 in NBA action at the State Farm Arena on Wednesday night; that marked the third straight victory for Atlanta.
John Collins led the Hawks in scoring with 20 points; he also contributed 11 rebounds. Kevin Huerter notched 19 points, and Cam Reddish chipped in 19 points off of the bench. Trae Young tallied 18 points and 11 assists. Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 12 points. Clint Capela added nine points, along with 12 rebounds.
Atlanta’s combined efforts allowed the team to overcome a 34 point night for Boston’s Jayson Tatum.
The Hawks improved to 7-9 on the 2021-2022 regular season. They will play the next-to-last match of a five-game homestand on Saturday night versus the Charlotte Hornets; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
