ROME DDA URGES SHOPPERS TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS ON SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY, ROME FOR THE HOLIDAYS WILL BE BACK IN 2021

Rome’s Downtown Development Authority is doing its part to help locals to get into the holiday spirit and provide an economic boost to the businesses in the area.

Megan Otwell, Director of Public Relations, urges shoppers to support local business on Small Business Saturday, slated for this Saturday, November 27th. The DDA’s Rome for the Holidays will return after Thanksgiving, for which downtown businesses will stay open late each Thursday through Christmas to accommodate last minute shoppers.

This marks the third year of Rome for the Holidays. The response has been great so far, asserts Otwell, who adds that shoppers like later business hours. And if you like later business hours, Otwell encourages you to provide input to the Downtown Rome Community Survey posted on the Downtown Rome, GA Facebook page.
