SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY SET FOR DECEMBER 4TH AND 5TH IN CAVE SPRING

The 18th annual Small Town Christmas in the Country is set for Saturday and Sunday, December 4th and 5th at Rolater Park in Cave Spring.

There will be 175 arts and crafts vendors stationed around the park and inside Hearn Academy, states organizer Susan Childers, who refers to the event as a “Christmas shopping bazaar”. Admission is free.

Small Town Christmas in the Country provides a great opportunity to stock up on jams, jellies, preserves, and other homemade goodies, attests Amanda Smith, Childers’ daughter.

An ‘amazing variety’ of arts and crafts will be for sale at the event, according to Childers, who indicates that the selection will feature photography, pottery, clothing, and even books from local authors.

There will also be live entertainment and activities for the kids. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be strolling around the park, as will the Grinch. Those in attendance are encouraged to register for the door prizes to be given away.

Event hours are 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 4th and noon to 4 pm on Sunday, December 5th. Small Town Christmas in the Country ’21 will be held rain or shine.

Cave Spring’s Christmas Parade is set for the evening of Saturday, December 4th at approximately 6 pm.
