Rome’s Own Musical Ensembles have scheduled a pair of concerts to help locals get into that holiday spirit.

“A Clocktower Christmas” will be presented this Saturday evening by the Clocktower Jazz Ensemble at the Rome City Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7 pm and will feature guest singer Beth McCain.

A variety of holiday classics will be performed, along with new favorites, as indicated by director Sam Baltzer.

Tickets are available in advance for $10 apiece at Kroger in Rome and online at www.eventbrite.com and at the door for $12 each. Student tickets are only $5.

The Northwest Georgia WINDS will present “There’s No Place Like ROME for the Holidays” at 7 pm on Tuesday evening at the Rome City Auditorium. Admission to that concert is free.
