ATLANTA HAWKS EDGED BY CHARLOTTE HORNETS

The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Charlotte Hornets 130-127 in NBA action at the State Farm Arena on Sunday evening; it was the second loss in a row at home for Atlanta.

John Collins led the Hawks in scoring with a season-high 31 points; he also had 12 rebounds. Kevin Huerter scored 28 points, while Trae Young had 25 points and 15 assists.

Miles Bridges scored a game-high 32 points for the Hornets, who were minus four players due to NBA health and safety protocols.

The Hawks now have an even 12-12 record on the 2021-2022 regular season. They will be on the road to face the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at 8 pm Eastern. The game will be televised on Bally Sports Southeast.
