The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team opened up ACC play with a loss to North Carolina by a final score of 79-62 on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta; that was the second straight loss for the Yellow Jackets, who fell to 5-3 overall on the 2021-2022 regular season.
It was a tight game during the first half, which concluded with a 31-31 tie at the intermission. But the Tarheels outscored the Yellow Jackets in the second half.
The Jackets will take a break from conference play to face the LSU Tigers in Holiday Hoopsgiving at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks, on Saturday evening at 6 pm. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 5:30 pm from the Georgia Tech Sports Network by Legends Sports.
