DAVIES SHELTERS SEEK YEAR-END DONATIONS TO NEIGHBOR SOCIETY, ALONG WITH PARTNERS FOR POINT IN TIME COUNT SET FOR LATE JANUARY

The William S. Davies Homeless Shelters seek year-end donations from the public as part of the Neighbor Society fundraising effort. All of the proceeds will benefit The Shelter for men and The Ruth and Naomi House for women and their children, according to Devon Smyth, Executive Director.

Smyth adds that concerned citizens may team up with the Neighbors Society online at www.daviesshelter.com.

Partners are also sought for the Point In Time count of the homeless in Floyd County set for late January, says Smyth. For additional information, contact the Davies Shelters at (706) 512-1152.

The mission of the Davies Shelters is to provide shelter to the local homeless, as well as resources to overcome homelessness. Updates from the non-profit may also be obtained by searching for The Davies Shelters on Facebook.
